Rating : - Don't Buy It I bought this printer to replace a scanner that had stopped working. I figure as long as it scans ok it would be good...plus I would be getting all the other features of an all in one printer. This printer has been nothing but trouble since I installed it. It was a pain to install...most of the time the software doesn't even start up when I want to scan. When I works the scanning is ok...but the problem with scanning is that the files that this scanner creates are huge compared to the last scanner only I replaced. And the files were huge and not even at as high a resolution as the old scanner. So this scanner sucks up more space on the hard drive when you have to store the scanned images. And forget about printing...the printer cartridge lasted for a few sheets before they ran out... and the ink is expensive. Compare that to my trusty old Minolta QMS PagePro1250W laser printer...which went for hundreds and hundreds of pages. I don't do massive amounts of printing, so it was literally about a few years before the toner ran low in the laser jet. Compare that to some test pages that I printed on the new Workforce printer...not even close! I haven't used the scanner lately, so today I turn it on and guess what?....I get the error message that Epson Scan cannot be started....After going through all of the troubleshooting steps...it still won't start! Maybe you could be lucky, but my advice is: Do Not Buy This Printer!
